Activated Carbon and Carbon Tower

The activated carbon Tower is designed to ensure oil and odorless compressed air.

Compressed air is passed through a bed of activated carbon and ensures a residual oil content in the compressed air of < 0.003 ppm. The residual oil content in the compressed air depends on the inlet

With standard pre and after filters such as particulate filters, water coalescers and oil coalescers, the oil content inside the compressed air can be reduced to 0.01 mg/m3 (0.01 ppm)

For applications of EXTREME air quality such as hospital, pharmaceutical industries, or food and beverage industries, the residual oil content may need to be reduced to 0.003 mg/m3 (0.003 ppm).
